Very interesting. I never would have anticipated that higher-level execs would show a preference for video, but I can now see that figure rising in the coming years.

Helpful in what sense? There are different tactics and strategies depending on your goals, IE - branding, traffic, conversion, rankings, etc... Sure, video marketing can help with all of these goals, but only as a part of a holistic internet marketing & content strategy.
