Instead of using embed codes, we need a universal video ID.  These embed codes seem to come in all forms shapes and sizes and pay no respect to standards.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;As for faster streaming, I think ISPs should stop leaving it up to advances in compression technology and provide us with more bandwidth.  Dialup...Broadband...GigaBand?
