42 Ways to Use Online Video for Business Marketing
This is a semantics issue, but let's throw this out there - all video on the web in some way, shape or form is "paid video." Its distribution may not be, but the good video producers out there are getting paid for their work in some way.
Again, it's a semantics issue but I think its worth bringing up.
Paid - Consumers are paying a membership fee or a static cost to download, stream, watch the video in general. i.e. Netflix, iTunes, MLB.com, etc...
Free - Video available without having to pay anything i.e. YouTube, etc.
A lot of video out there on the web was not done for profit and that's another difference altogether. But the study I'm sure made the distinction I have explained above.
