This article couldn't have come at a better time for me! I recently decided to give internet marketing a try and started promoting this adult network marketing opportunity. After doing some research and thinking about what I like to do when surfing the net I decided that I wanted to try my hand at video marketing. It took a couple days of learning Photoshop and Camtasia but yesterday I finally put together my first video production (go me!). ____Once I finished the video I uploaded it to YouTube and called it a day. This morning however I came across an article on the WarriorForum posing the question about how to get more exposure for one of the members YouTube videos...in that thread someone had mentioned submission of the YouTube RSS feed to video feed sites. My research landed me here!____The question I have...if someone can answer it...once a feed is submitted does it have to be resubmitted every time a new video gets uploaded or will the site crawl the submitted feeds periodically?
  • Mark Robertson · 7 months ago
That is a good question.... I should clarify the post but if you are actually using Youtube for your videos, most, if not all of these sites already crawl and index Youtube Videos. Therefore, you may not need to submit MRSS sitemaps to the sites. Are you trying to get your URL for your own site indexed as the one with the video or does it matter that Youtube would be the destination?
  • adult home business · 7 months ago
I am pretty new to all of this...I assume I would want to get my site indexed for the video and not YouTube...the problem is I don't know how to create a video only feed from my site...I made a video page put the feed is pulling video AND audio (has to do with the plugin I am using I think).
  • Mark Robertson · 7 months ago
I believe that you stated that you were hosting the videos using Youtube. I should write a post on this to help clarify to folks - However, submitting a sitemap for videos that are hosted with Youtube will not work. Youtube is the destination and Google knows that. They will not show your site with the videos in universal.

Yep, it's been two years since you posted this and found it today while finding it a definite pain in the ass to come up with a good video posting list. Thanks so much!
