Mark, has YouTube officially announced they will lift up the 5-minute limit? Files larger than 1GB can still be less than 5 minutes in a very hi-res or an uncompressed format.

Well it is a 10 minute limit and I remember it being that way for some time.. not sure I remember a 5 minute one. In any case, they haven't changed that unless you are a partner, "director", or hacking the system. You can however upload videos up to 10:59 in length even though they say 10.
