I have found as long as you know what your audience wants you will get views, but this really helps me. If I have a goal and deadline in my head of the optimal time to post I respond better.

It might be better to upload a video during the week. But I consistently see a MUCH larger amount of viewers of my vids on Saturday and Sundays.

Thanks for the comments. The time that I am talking about just before 2pm according to this research. unfortunately, as I pointed out and as you confirmed, the research does not compare statistics for different time zones. That being said, I am told that traffic is greatest to youtube in the US, and even greater in EST and PST, east and west coasts. So, I would recommend targeting 2pm EST as the time to have your video live. As for the "pets&animals;", you can see in this particular research that it was not the most watched category. Can you point me to research that you have that shows that as most watched category?

which time are you talking about? California time or Calcutta time? New York time? Please explain. I thought the best time to upload is 8pm to 10 pm. A little of explanation on the time frame would be awesome. Also the research is good but it is wrong since it forgot the most watched category "pets and animals"
